These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Best Resume Studio at bestresume.online (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Best Resume Studio provides resume templates, a resume builder, writing examples, a resume checker and related guides. Some features require a free account. We may change, add or remove features at any time.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to create an account. Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@bestresume.online if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Free service and limits

The Service is currently free. Each account can open up to two (2) different templates per calendar day (UTC). Re-opening a template you already opened that day does not count again, editing and downloading are not limited, and the limit resets at 00:00 UTC. We may adjust limits or introduce optional paid features in the future; we will not charge you without your explicit agreement.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading, including creating resumes in someone else’s name without permission; (b) upload content that is illegal, infringing, harmful or that contains malware; (c) attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service, bypass limits or security, or access other users’ data; (d) create multiple accounts to get around limits; or (e) resell or redistribute the templates or the Service.

5. Your content

You own the content you enter (“Your Content”), such as your resume text and photos. You give us a limited license to store, process and display Your Content only to provide the Service to you (for example, to save your profile and render your resume). We do not claim ownership of Your Content and do not use it for advertising. You are responsible for making sure Your Content is accurate and that you have the right to use it.

6. Our intellectual property

The Service, including templates, designs, software, text, example content and the Best Resume Studio name and logo, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use the templates and example text to create resumes for your own job search and personal use, including sending them to employers. You may not copy, sell, or distribute the templates or example library as such.

7. No guarantee of employment

We provide tools and general guidance only. We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in interviews, job offers or any particular outcome, and our content is not career, legal or financial advice. Applicant tracking systems differ; we cannot guarantee how a particular employer’s system will read your resume.

8. Advertising and third-party services

The Service may display ads and uses third-party services such as Google Sign-In. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites linked from the Service.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from My Profile → Delete my account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put the Service or other users at risk, and we may discontinue the Service with reasonable notice where possible. Sections 5–7 and 10–13 survive termination.

10. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that data will never be lost — please keep your own copy of important resumes.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OPPORTUNITIES OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you; nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from Your Content or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW — to be completed by the site owner, e.g. “the State of Delaware, USA”], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of [VENUE — to be completed by the site owner], except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own country.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. If changes are material we will give notice on the site or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
