Tips for a Backend Engineer resume
- Quantify scale and reliability: requests per second, latency, uptime, data size.
- Show ownership: services you designed, not just tickets you closed.
- Mention incidents you resolved and what you changed afterwards.
- Keep system names generic if they are confidential ("payments platform" is fine).
- Run the built-in resume checker and paste the job description into the keyword match before you download.
